All Australian orders are shipped via Australia Post. We offer complimentary express shipping (1-2 business days) for all orders. Orders are shipped within 1 - 3 business days.

For orders to countries outside of Australia, deliveries are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means duties and taxes will be payable upon arrival in your country.

raffinée the label will not offer refunds for any refused shipments due to additional customs and taxes charges. If this fee is not paid, the order will be returned to us at the customers expense. Any custom charges paid to receive your order are not refundable upon return.

All orders are dispatched within 1 - 3 business days.

If your order includes a pre-order item, your entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order item is available.

During promotional periods please allow additional time for dispatch.

Once your order is dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking details.

We want you to love your raffinée pieces. If you're not completely satisfied, we're happy to assist with a return or exchange under the following conditions:

• We must receive your item(s) back within 14 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a refund or store credit.
• Items must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original condition, with all original packaging included (soft pouch and jewellery box where applicable).
• Pieces that show signs of wear, damage, or are returned without original packaging may not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at the customer's expense.
• Return and exchange shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty.
• Pieces purchased during promotional periods (including sale events and discount code promotions) are eligible for store credit only, not a refund (excluding welcome discount).

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us at hello@raffineethelabel.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the fault. We will arrange a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund as appropriate. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

For hygiene reasons we can't accept change-of-mind refunds on pierced earrings (we can offer store credit or exchange only). We're always happy to help with sizing before you order, at hello@raffineethelabel.com. If your earrings arrive faulty or damaged, this doesn't apply; see above.

Yes. That's the point of solid silver and a real stone, there's nothing to wear away and nothing to peel. Shower in it, sleep in it, wear it in the sea.

Two honest notes. Chlorine and salt water accelerate tarnish on silver, so rinse the piece in fresh water after the pool or the ocean and pat it dry. And if you have a sleeping baby on your shoulder, a tennis bracelet is the one piece worth taking off, not for the bracelet's sake, but for theirs.

And our gold pieces are the exception to the rule. The vermeil is a thick layer of 18K gold over the same solid sterling, a far better finish than the plating on fashion jewellery, but gold over silver is still a layer, and water, chlorine, sunscreen and perfume will wear any layer faster than they'd wear solid metal. Gold pieces go on last and come off before the pool. The silver underneath is solid, so nothing cheap is ever exposed; you're only protecting the colour. See How do I care for gold vermeil below.

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, a soft toothbrush. Work gently around the stones and into the back of the settings, that's where sunscreen, moisturiser and skin oils collect and dull the light. Rinse, then dry with a soft lint-free cloth.

If the silver has softened in tone, a silver polishing cloth brings it back. Avoid liquid silver dips and abrasive cleaners; they're harsher than the piece needs and can wear a rhodium finish.

Moissanite is safe in an ultrasonic cleaner.

The gold is a layer, so treat it as one. Put your gold pieces on last, after skincare, perfume and sunscreen, and take them off before the pool. Clean the same way as silver, warm water and mild soap, but without the polishing cloth, which is abrasive enough to wear gold over time. Stored in its pouch between wears, vermeil keeps its colour for years. If it ever wears through, the silver underneath is solid, and re-plating is straightforward.

In the pouch or box it came in, one piece per pouch, so stones can't scratch silver. Away from humidity, the bathroom is the worst room in the house for silver. If you're putting a piece away for a long time, a small anti-tarnish strip in the pouch will keep it bright.

Moissanite is a gemstone in its own right, silicon carbide, first found in a meteor crater in 1893 and now grown in a laboratory because it's almost never found in the earth. It sits at 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond, and it has more fire than diamond: light entering a moissanite is split into more colour on the way out. Every stone in the atelier is genuine moissanite. None of it is glass, crystal or cubic zirconia.

Yes. It's a real mineral with its own name, chemistry and optical properties, not an imitation of anything. It passes a diamond tester because a tester measures thermal conductivity, and moissanite conducts heat the way diamond does. We chose it not as an alternative to diamond, but on its own terms.

Carat is a unit of weight, and a stone's size on a finger or an ear depends on its cut and its millimetre measurements. Moissanite is about 9% lighter than diamond, so a moissanite cut to the exact size of a one-carat diamond weighs a little under a carat on the scale. The jewellery industry solves this by quoting equivalent carat weight, the weight a diamond of the same size would be, so that "1 ct" means the same size everywhere.

That's the figure we use, and we put the millimetre size beside it on every product page so you can check it against something you already own. A one-carat round is 6.5 mm across. A one-carat oval is 7 × 5 mm. If you'd rather know the actual weight of the stone, multiply by 0.9.
