Developed in 1902 by the Royal Asscher Diamond Company, the Asscher cut was designed around a single obsession: the infinite. Its stepped facets create what jewellers call the hall-of-mirrors effect — a depth of light so layered, so architectural, that the eye is drawn inward rather than outward.
The Daphne earring places a 1 carat moissanite Asscher at its centre — a stone chosen specifically for this cut because moissanite's exceptional fire and brilliance amplifies everything the Asscher was designed to do. A fine halo of round and baguette-cut accent stones frames each centre stone, adding dimension without competing with it.
